Stage Stars Child Release

    PROGRAMME TITLE: STAGE STARS (working title) (“Programme”)

    PROGRAMME SYNOPSIS: Stage Stars is a 15 x 24-minute observational reality documentary series with master interviews and produced ‘magical moments’ which are performance based. It’s a celebratory show that follows the lives of students at Tring Park School of Performing Arts as they audition, rehearse and build to shows and performances that are highlights of the school year.
    You acknowledge and agree that the Programme Description is a brief description of the Programme, that it may be subject to change and that the Producer has fully explained the nature and the content of the Programme to you and your Child.

    RECORDING PERIOD: Tring Park Academic Year 2024-2025 and/or such other date(s) as are notified to you by us. (“Recording Period”)
    CONTRIBUTION: Actuality observational filming and/or photography. Featured cast members may also be asked to take part in some produced elements (“Contribution”)
    PRODUCTION COMPANY: Drummer Television Limited, of 12 St Stephen’s Street, Bristol, BS1 1EL (“Company, we, us”)

    By signing this agreement (“Agreement”) you agree to the following terms. In consideration of our mutual exchange of obligations:

    1. As the parent(s)/guardian(s) of the Child you acknowledge that (i) the nature and purpose of your Child’s Contribution to the Programme has been explained to you (ii) you hereby grant your informed consent for your Child to provide their Contribution to the Programme, and (iii) that you are satisfied that this Agreement is for the benefit of your Child.

    2. You warrant that you:(i) are the parent/lawful guardian of the Child; (ii) are over 18; (iii) will not without the Producer’s prior written consent tell anyone about your Child’s participation in the Programme, nor divulge any information about the Programme or others involved in it (including to the press, via third parties or online), and that you will procure that your Child complies with such requirements.

    3. If you are a sole parent/ guardian and you do not require the consent of your Child’s other parent/guardian for your Child’s involvement in the Programme, you warrant that: (i) you are the parent/guardian of your Child with sole custody and parental responsibility for your Child; (ii) that no other parent/guardian has parental responsibility towards/(shared) custody of your Child; and (iii) you make all major decisions for your Child and are legally entitled to grant the rights granted under this Agreement without the permission of any third party.

    4. You agree to the filming, recording and/or communication to the public of your Child’s Contribution and(if applicable) also of any materials you or your Child may provide to us for incorporation in the Programme (the “Materials”), and you assign to us all rights in your Child’s Contribution and in the Materials worldwide in perpetuity in all media known now or in the future.

    5. You acknowledge and agree that we may edit, copy, adapt or translate your Child’s Contribution to the Programme and the Materials at our discretion, and you waive any “moral rights” that may exist in your Child’s Contribution and/or in the Materials.

    6. To the best of your knowledge and belief, your Child’s Contribution to the Programme will not infringe the copyright or any other rights of any third party or be defamatory.

    7. We will not be liable for any loss or damage to your Child or your Child’s property unless caused directly by our negligence.

    8. You acknowledge and agree that Tring Park has overall safeguarding responsibility in respect of the children’s participation in the Programme.

    9. Although we hope to use your Child’s Contribution in the Programme, we cannot guarantee to do so and nor are we under any obligation to do so.

    10. You will ensure that your Child will comply with all of the Producer’s reasonable directions and policies communicated to you and/or your Child including, without limitation, the Producer’s Social Media Policy.

    11. In the event of any breach of this Agreement by the Producer you agree that damages will be adequate compensation, and neither you nor your Child will be entitled to injunction and/or any other equitable relief.

    12. We will collect and process personal data you or your Child provides to us with for the purpose of (i) the performance of this contract, or (ii) fulfilling our contractual obligations to the broadcaster, where we have balanced those obligations against your rights, freedoms or interests. Any Special Category personal data you provide will be processed for the purposes of producing journalistic or artistic content for publication by the broadcaster in the public interest.     13. UK broadcasters and Creative Diversity Network (CDN) are monitoring diversity on UK television through Diamond. We have a legitimate interest to collect diversity information about our industry and if you or your Child provides us with your Child’s name and (if applicable) email address, we will enter this into a system called Silvermouse and you or your Child will be invited to provide your Child’s diversity characteristics. The broadcasters and CDN, as data controllers, are responsible for this data and will retain your Child’s name and email address for this purpose in Silvermouse for as long as diversity is monitored by them.     14. This Agreement is governed by the laws of England and Wales and the jurisdiction of the English and Welsh courts applies.

    15. If you agree with the terms of this Agreement please sign below and submit to the Production Company. If you are unsure of the meaning of any of the terms set out above, the production team can explain them to you. Thank you for your help making the Programme.
